Welcome to John Schwegel Illustration - The Portfolio of Spooky Cuteness. Here you will find samples of my whimsical and humorous fantasy and sci-fi artwork. Lots of funny pics. I create my illustrations and cartoons in both digital and traditional mediums. For my digital work I mainly use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and Macromedia Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver. Most of my recent pictures are vector art made entirely in Adobe Illustrator. My traditional works are created with pencils, inks, acrylics and watercolors. My work has been used for web graphics, T-shirt designs, posters, fliers, toys, direct mail and many other formats. I pride myself on creating original work in a unique style. I really enjoy character design and creating mascots in my twisted, cartoony, comic book style.
